A series of wall based assemblages imitate blown up drawing tools. They are packaged in graphics, slogans and colours that speak of essential needs and enhanced performance, while price stickers annotate their value. Even if they look mass produced the items are one offs and produced by one person pretending to be a production line.
The objects are presented alongside a series of photographs, in which the drawing tools are playfully activated as martial art training props: mixing notions of labour, play, productivity and enhancement.
Exhibited in Head2Head at KEIV Athens [GR] alongisde works by Elísabet Brynhildardóttir, Konstantinos Giotis, Una Björg Magnúsdóttir and curated by Konstantinos Lianos.
