How to: Meetings is an exaggerated scenario that explores meetings within the workplace. It draws inspiration from ‘how to’ culture as well as corporate acting to present an exaggerated take on the exploitation of natural movements for corporate needs. How is the prominent and extended presence of meetings affecting the notion and use of the body within the work environment?
Studied through dance scores (labanotation), reenactment and taxonomy, gestures as seen in meeting contexts are then subverted and performed by two subjects as a series of repetitive choreographic exercises within a simulation of an office meeting room.
